The Oath

Bismillah~
Officially 3rd year student after the White Coat Ceremony. The classes with starts soon. 2nd September 2014. With all the ward rounds, TBL (Task Based Learning) and BST (Bed Side Teaching), life is not gonna be easier. But, we just need to 'enjoy' the postings to the fullest - actually that is what our seniors told us. And that is how CUCMS nurtured us as a medical student. To be not just a doctor, but a good, holistic doctor.
The oath is not just a common oath. Makes me feel like, the responsibility is placed over my shoulders now. Yeah, its a big, very big responsibility. Towards professionalism and care towards our peers and patients. The journey is yet too long to be a good doctor but it is important to practice to be a good doctor.
White Coat Ceremony in CUCMS starts with the entrance of the deans and all the lecturers. Then, as usual there will be a recitation of dua'. After that, the leaders of the group go to the front and we recite the oath together. Simple as such. But, it gives us a very great impact.
So, that's all I think for this while.
